On February 9, 2026, the Mason ISD Board of Trustees unanimously voted to hold a bond election on May 2, 2026. This decision follows months of work by the Facilities Planning Committee—district staff, parents, and community members focused on improving learning environments districtwide.


The main priorities of the May 2026 bond are the safety of our students and staff, managing program/student growth, and maintaining and updating MISD’s facilities. The goal of the proposed projects is to enhance every child’s experience at MISD and equip them for their future endeavors.
